Safe servicing is important more so on high grade safes to make it reliable and for it to open when needed. It is very common for us to get called out to open a safe when there are important documents or passports inside that are needed.
To avoid this, you could have your safe serviced ever two years. More if your safe is used constantly, it can be a small price to pay.
